PUBLIC NOTICE - GREENVALE WATER SUPPLY - CONSERVE WATER FOR NEXT THREE DAYS (THURSDAY – SATURDAY)

Back

Council wishes to advise that due to a breakage in the water supply pipeline to the Greenvale Town’s water reservoir, residents are to conserve water.

Council is working to rectify the issue. Repairs to the pipeline will take approximately 24 – 36 hours to complete.

In the meantime, we ask that residents comply with the following over the next three days;

  1. No unnecessary watering or irrigation of lawns or gardens,
  2. No washing of vehicles,
  3. No filling of pools or spas and,
  4. No washing down of buildings or outdoor hard surfaces.

This will allow time for the Town’s Supply Reservoir to fill to its normal operational levels.  Residents will then return to normal usage and non-restricted levels from Saturday.

Council acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for their cooperation.
