Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool

The Kennedy Regiment Memorial Pool  (1 Plummer Street (corner of Church Street) Charters Towers)is owned by Charters Towers Regional Council and the operation of the Pool Complex is currently contracted to ATM Aquatics (The Lessee). Contact details are as follows:

The complex is open year round and has a 50 metre pool and a 25 metre heated indoor pool.  The opening hours for the complex are as follows:

Summer Season

1 September - 31 March (inclusive)

  • Monday - Thursday: 5:30am - 7:00pm for the Centre
  • Friday:  5:30am - 6:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
  • Sunday: 9:00am - 4:00pm
  • Charters Towers Public Holidays: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Winter Season

1 April - 31 August (inclusive)

  • Monday - Thursday: 5:30am - 7:00pm
  • Friday: 5:30am - 6:00pm
  • Saturday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Charters Towers Public Holidays: 10:00am - 4:00pm

Both the 25m heated indoor pool and the 50m pool will be open during operating hours.

Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday
