PUBLIC NOTICE – REPLACEMENT OF WATER MAIN; HICKS STREET (BURDEKIN ST/DAVIES ST)
Replacement of the water main in Hicks Street (between Burdekin and Davies Streets) has commenced and is expected to be completed within two weeks (weather permitting).
Hicks Street (from Burdekin Street to Davies Street) and a section of Mahoney Street will be restricted to local traffic access only between 6:30am and 5:00pm week days. Residents in the area may experience interruptions to their water supply during this period.
Council acknowledges that these works may cause inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during these works.
