PUBLIC NOTICE - ANZAC Day Closures

Charters Towers Regional Council would like to advise operating hours at Council facilities will be impacted due to ANZAC Day.
Council facilities will be closed as per below:
- Council's Administration Centre will be closed from from 4.00pm Friday, 22 April 2022 and will reopen 8.30am Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
- The Excelsior Library will be closed from 1.00pm Saturday, 24 April 2022 and will reopen 10.00am Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
- The Visitor Information Centre will open on ANZAC Day (Monday, 25 April 2022) from 1.00pm - 4.00pm.
- The Venus Battery will be closed ANZAC Day (Monday, 25 April 2022) and will reopen Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
- The Dalrymple (H.M.Clarke) Saleyards will be closed on ANZAC Day (Monday, 25 April 2022) and will reopen Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
- The Stubley Street Landfill will open from 8.00am - 12.00pm on ANZAC Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
- The Airport Depot and Highway Depot will be closed from 4.00pm Friday, 22 April 2022 and will reopen 7.00am Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
