PUBLIC NOTICE - Labour Day Closures

Charters Towers Regional Council would like to advise operating hours at Council facilities will be impacted due to the Labour Day public holiday.   

Council facilities will be closed as per below:

• Council's Administration Centre will be closed from 4.00pm Friday, 29 April 2022 and will reopen 8.30am Tuesday, 3 May 2022.
• The Excelsior Library will be closed from 1.00pm Saturday, 30 April 2022 and will reopen 10.00am Tuesday, 3 May 2022.
• The Dalrymple (H.M.Clarke) Saleyards will be closed on Labour Day (Monday, 2 May 2022) and will reopen Tuesday, 3 May 2022.
• The Stubley Street Landfill will open from 8.00am - 12.00pm on Labour Day (Monday, 2 May 2022). Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, 3 May 2022.
• The Airport Depot and Highway Depot will be closed from 4.00pm Friday, 29 April 2022 and will reopen 7.00am Tuesday, 3 May 2022.
