UPDATE

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the road resealing works program scheduled for completion Wednesday, 10 May 2023 has been delayed.

It is expected the program will now be completed by the end of May 2023.

Charters Towers Regional Council would like to advise that road resealing works will be undertaken throughout the Charters Towers and Greenvale Region from Tuesday. 2 May 2023 to Wednesday, 10 May 2023, weather permitting.

Traffic controllers will be in place along with detour signs and all road users are reminded to follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signage when driving through worksites. Council acknowledges that these works may cause inconvenience and appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during these works.

Further correspondence will be provided to residents directly affected by the works.
