Council will be supporting some exciting, family-friendly activities during the December school holidays.

Summer Reading Club - Excelsior Library

The national Summer Reading Club will return this year to the Excelsior Library and online at summerreadingclub.org.au. More than a thousand public libraries across the country will participate for another fun-filled season.

Created for children and young people pre-school age to 17, the Summer Reading Club is a free program led by State Library of Queensland (SLQ) that inspires imaginations and instils a love of libraries and reading.

The Library will be holding a launch party on Saturday 7 December at 10am.

Starting 2 January through until 24 January 2020, the library will offer daily weekday activities.
