Commencement of the Charters Towers Regional Town Plan Version 2 (inclusive of Local Government Infrastructure Plan and Administrative Amendment)

Notice is given in accordance with the Planning Act 2016 that Charters Towers Regional Council on Wednesday 29 January 2020 adopted the Charters Towers Regional Town Plan Version 2 inclusive of the Local Government Infrastructure Plan and Administrative Amendment. The Charters Towers Regional Town Plan Version 2 will take effect on and from Monday 10 February 2020.

The Charters Towers Regional Town Plan Version 2 applies to the entire Charters Towers local government area. The amendments include the inclusion of a Local Government Infrastructure Plan which seeks to manage the timely delivery of infrastructure in accordance with population growth and Administrative Amendments to spelling, grammar and structure of the document.

The Charters Towers Regional Town Plan Version 2 can be viewed online or at Council’s Administration Centres located at 12 and 70 Mosman Street, Charters Towers.
