PUBLIC NOTICE
Council advises residents of Charters Towers that, in response to yesterday’s storm, Council will be offering free clean green waste disposal for a limited time from today, Thursday, 10 December to Saturday, 12 December 2020 at the Stubley Street Landfill.
Green Waste should not be mixed with other forms of waste or charges will apply. No material should be placed on the roadside as no kerbside removal service is being offered.
Residents will still be required to weigh-on and weigh-off the weigh bridge.
The Stubley Street Landfill is open 8:00am – 5:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
