PUBLIC NOTICE: Return to Level Zero Water Restrictions

Charters Towers, Ravenswood, and Greenvale residents are advised water restrictions will return to Level Zero restrictions.

It comes as the water level at the Burdekin Weir rose again following recent rainfall.

Level Zero water restrictions mean residents are required to observe the following:
•    No sprinklers or automatic drip systems to be used on Mondays.
•    No sprinklers or automatic drip systems to be used any day between 8am and 4pm.
•    Sprinklers and automatic drip systems can be used between 4pm and 8am on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for odd numbered houses, and Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for even numbered houses.
•    Attended Hand-held hoses can be used at any time.
•    Cleaning of paved areas can be done at any time.
