Buzz around business for Charters Towers

Back

Charters Towers Regional Council has launched an exciting new initiative to strengthen its connection with local businesses.

Council recently launched CT Business Buzz to better engage with the Region’s local business community.

CT Business Buzz is one of the initiatives being implemented from Council’s Charters Towers Region Economic Development and Innovation Strategy.

Deputy Mayor Sonia Bennetto, whose portfolio includes regional economic development, said it will help connect local businesses with information, opportunities and announcements.

“Council’s Economic Development Team will use the platform to send out information to local business about anything from tender opportunities in the Region through to available grants and workshops,” she said.

“There’s a lot of help available to businesses through different levels of government and this will help to make sure that is communicated to relevant local businesses.

“As we continue to refine our database, we will be able to further help Charters Towers Region businesses take full advantage of all the opportunities in our Region,” Cr Bennetto said.

Businesses interested in being connected to CT Business Buzz communications are encouraged to get in contact with Council.

“We want to ensure we get all the latest updated contact information from local businesses so that we can build on that dialogue between owners and Council,” Cr Bennetto said.
