Big Bend and Echo Hole - RESTRICTED ACCESS and TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - EXTENDED to 5 December 2021

Council advises that the temporary closure of Big Bend Road and the restricted access to Big Bend and Echo Hole camping areas have been extended until Sunday, 5 December 2021.

The restricted access and temporary road closure was originally scheduled from Monday, 16 August 2021 until Sunday, 7 November 2021 but has been extended due to a change in schedule for the Australian Survivor television production.

Signage, fencing and security will be in place to inform persons of the area’s temporary restrictions, and to provide visitors with alternative locations to visit.
