Public Notice - Reduced Water Services — Charters Towers

Council will be completing maintenance works at the Water Treatment Plant on Monday 25 October and advises consumers that there may be some impact on supply. Charters Towers residents are requested to reduce water usage on Monday, 25 October, in line with the current Level 0 Residential Restriction Level for Charters Towers. This includes:

• No sprinklers or fixed irrigation systems connected to the Council water supply system can be used on Mondays.
• Odd numbered residences/premises on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as watering days.
• Even numbered residences/premises may use sprinklers on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday as watering days.
• No sprinklers can be used between 8am and 4pm on the odds and evens system.
• Attended hand-held hoses can be used at any time.
• Paved areas no restrictions.
