Indigenous Reference Group

The Indigenous Reference Group is currently in abeyance until such time as Council and/or the Community require strategic items to be progessed.

Role

The Indigenous Reference Group’s primary role is to provide a channel to engage with traditional owners, Council and other external stakeholders in respect to cultural matters, youth engagement, youth employment and education.

The membership of the Indigenous Reference Group includes traditional owners and external stakeholder groups.

The Mayor is the independent Chair of the Indigenous Reference Group.
