The Charters Towers Region is located in North Queensland, about 136 kilometres south-west from Townsville.

Spanning an impressive 68,580 square kilometres, the region is home to major townships including Pentland to the west, Greenvale to the north, Hervey Range to the northeast, and Ravenswood to the southeast, alongside a constellation of other vital communities such as Homestead, Bluewater Springs, Belyando Crossing, Balfes Creek, and Hidden Valley.
