Flying Fox Dispersal September 2024

Council is set to resume the flying fox dispersal program utilising various noise deterrents to move returning Flying Foxes from Lissner Park.

Unfortunately, a number of Flying Foxes have decided to return to the Park, and in an effort to discourage them from settling in, Council crews will recommence dispersal activities from tomorrow morning, (Thursday, 5 September).

Activities will occur between 5:30am and 8:30am daily for up to 10 days.

Council encourages pet owners to keep noise-sensitive pets inside during this time.
