ALERT #9 - ACTION DUE TO INFRASTRUCTURE FAILURE DUE TO FLOODING

From 9:00pm tonight (Thursday, 13 February 2025), Council will be moving to a Level 5 water restriction - essential use only: drinking water, only flushing your toilet when necessary, showering (maximum 3 minutes).

With the Weir level dropping, this restriction is required to ensure water supply is maintained while temporary restoration works are undertaken to the water intake.

Residents and business owners will receive an emergency alert at 5:00pm with a warning that a Level 5 water restriction will be in place from 9:00pm tonight. Council has sent this earlier advice for community awareness.

Council staff will be reaching out directly to the business community impacted by these restrictions from tomorrow morning.

Daily updates will continue to be provided to the community.
