2021 Light Up Our World Colouring In Competition

Get the kids into the spirit of Christmas with the annual Light Up Our World colouring in competition.

The Competition is open to children 12 years and under, and entry is free.

Councillor Graham Lohmann, whose portfolio includes Community Events, is encouraging parents and teachers to get children involved.

“The Colouring In Competition is a great way to help spread some Christmas cheer and have some fun at the same time,” he said.

There are three (3) age categories, with a different image selected for each category:

• Ages 6yrs & Under; Christmas Tree
• Ages 7 – 9yrs; Christmas Sleigh
• Ages 10 – 12yrs; Christmas Wreath

Entry Forms can be downloaded from Council’s website at https://www.charterstowers.qld.gov.au/events or are available at Council’s Administration Centre and the Excelsior Library.

“Entrants have the chance to win prizes with a First Prize and Random Draw prizes awarded for each category,”

“So set the kids up with pencils, crayons, or textas and get them colouring to bring their images to life,” said Councillor Lohmann.

All eligible entries will be displayed at the Excelsior Library from Thursday 16 December 2021 to Thursday 23 December 2021.

Entries close at 4pm on Thursday 9 December 2021.  Winners will be announced at the Christmas Fair on Thursday 16 December 2021.
