RADF Grants up for Grabs for Arts Groups and Individuals
Council is calling for grant applications for funding from the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) to add fun and interaction to the Queensland Day Street Party.
Applications are open to groups and individuals who have a workshop that they would like to offer at Council’s Queensland Day - Celebrating Faces and Places of Charters Towers Street Party on Sunday, June 5, 2022 explains Councillor Graham Lohmann Chair of the RADF Committee.
“Workshops could be based around music, dance, literature, theatre, visual art or even digital art … the possibilities are endless, and I really want to encourage individuals and community groups to submit their ideas and requests for funding while they still can. If they want to be involved and are not sure how, I encourage them to contact Council to discuss possibilities” says Cr Lohmann.
